How To Get Started

The first step towards a solar electric array at your home or business is to have a free* site assessment done at your property. During the site assessment our employees will survey potential locations and determine what the most appropriate location is for the solar array. They will be checking for shading, roof angle, wiring options, building structure details, electric meter, and load center conditions and location.

After your site assessment is processed, PV Systems will offer you a bid explaining how much it would cost for us to install a system at your location.

Upon accepting the bid and signing the contract PV Systems will help with paperwork for the Focus on Energy Grant, utility application and contract, and permitting by providing you with everything already filled out so you only need to read it and sign.

Next your property can be marked for any trenching and excavation followed by the installation. After an inspection, the install will be commissioned. The final grant information, passing of the manual, and bill will complete your experience with PV Systems.

* Most site assessments are free; there may be a cost depending on distance. You will be informed of the cost when setting up the site assessment.
